In this talk I explain the lifetime of PHP versions and how the recent major events (the end of life of PHP 5.x.x and 7.0.x) are impacting the industry.
I think it’s much more relevant and important topic nowadays, as PHP is going through major shifts this year (PHP 5.6 will lose the official support on the 31st of December and PHP 7.0.x already did). Unsupported PHP versions will pose a security risk for all websites still stuck on old systems.
